As feats of athleticism go, this one’s in a class of its own. David Rush has finally captured the Guinness World Record for the most ping pong balls bounced and caught in shaving cream covering his head in 30 seconds. He managed to tie the world record of 14 last year but claimed it outright by catching 16 during a visit to Guinness World Records headquarters in London.
While claiming a world record would be an achievement for most people, it was just another day for Rush. This was the 171st world record he’s set, making him the person who holds more world records than anyone on Earth. He uses his continuous world records to promote STEM as a speaker and author, but also has the satisfaction of catching ping pong balls with shaving cream on his head, so he’s a winner all around.
