Well, that’s one way to get rich…A woman in Baltimore, Maryland claims she’s collected $2-million in discarded stuff, thanks to her dumpster-diving hobby. Jennifer Llenas, 40, says she’s been rummaging through trash since her college days and has rescued everything from pricey cookware to vacuum cleaners.
Though Llenas owns her own marketing agency, she says her “treasure hunting” nets her “about $100,000 a year.” She doesn’t just hoard her goods, however. Jennifer says she ends up giving a lot of it away to family, friends, and charities. “I do it more because I can help others than myself,” admits Jennifer.
