Americans love their cars and a lot of us have a dream car we would love to drive, given the chance. According to a new survey of 2-thousand U.S. adults, 53% have a dream car in mind, with a third holding onto theirs since they were teenagers.
- When it comes to their dream car, 39% of respondents say just thinking about it brings them happiness.
- Six out of 10 Americans would choose to own their dream car over owning their dream home.
- As for how much they’d be willing to spend on their dream car, 43% say they’d pay more than $100-thousand on theirs.
So what makes a car a “dream?” The top factors that influence people’s choice of dream car include:

- Reliability (23%)
