Ric Flair Giving It One Last Go In The Ring

At the age of 73, wrestling legend Ric Flair is prepping to give it a go in the ring one more time. On Sunday, for the first time since 2011, Flair will wrestle Nashville as part of an independent circuit event, motivated by “ego, glory, and family.” In the match, Flair will team up with his son-in-law Andrade El Idolo to take on Lethal and Jeff Jarrett. It was five years ago when Flair on life support and in intensive care because of “devastating health issues.” To prove he was ready, he doubled-up on a wrestling cardio drill called a “blow-up drill,” where an athlete “runs the ropes ten times, and then lays down on the mat and gets up quickly (“and technically”) ten times. He’s ready. WOO!
