Missing Philadelphia Man Found Dead, May Have Won The Lottery Before He Died

After being missing since April 26th, 25-year-old Francis Decero was found by a group of children in some bushes on Douglas Street, Philadelphia on May 4th. After an investigation, authorities announced that Decero was shot multiple times, stabbed, and burned.

Before he went missing, Decero may have won a one-million-dollar lottery prize on a scratch-off ticket. The Pennsylvania Lottery says a man named “Francis D” won the prize from a ticket about a mile from Decero’s home; police say they don’t know if the lottery win is connected to his death.
