A bingo game in the Brazilian state of Ceara created chaos when 101 people all shouted “BINGO!” at the same time on July 2nd, with each one claiming the top prize of $184…or at least trying to. The crowd rushed to the claims tent to grab their prizes, but there was a problem.
Actually, there were two problems. The winners were forced to split the jackpot, leaving each of them with winnings of $1.83. The other problem was on the part of the printer, which glitched and printed the number 49 on every card. The game organizer graciously rounded up everyone’s winnings…to $1.85.
