While some people just throw their tree away after Christmas is done, folks in Philadelphia have several different options. One of those is the Philly Goat Project at Awbury Arboretum, where for a $20 contribution people can give their trees over to be eaten by goats.
Philly has over 20 different places to dispose of trees, including 19 drop-off sites the city will be running in January, but there’s only one where you can enjoy hot chocolate, pet a goat, and then feed it a Christmas tree.
