The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina has an investigation underway after someone noticed a bad odor coming from a donation bin and found a dead body inside. Coroner David West says that authorities originally thought it was someone who was trying to keep warm, but he says the body had been inside the bin “for months.”
The body, which appears to be female, went undiscovered for so long because the bin apparently hadn’t been emptied in years. How many years? West said there were VHS tapes inside. A cause of death hasn’t been determined yet, but an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
