Aerosmith Will Release New “Greatest Hits” Album

Ahead of their farewell tour, “Peace Out,” Aerosmith has announced they’re giving fans a special release. “Greatest Hits,” a collection of songs from the band’s 50+ years, is due out August 18th.

The set will drop in various formats- CD, vinyl, double vinyl, limited editions vinyl- and include classics like “Walk This Way,” “Dream On,” and “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing.” Also featured in the collections are various concert and behind-the-scenes photos, as well as four black-and-white lithographs.

But if you’re an Aerosmith fan hoping for new music before the band calls it quits, don’t hold your breath. “I don’t know. At this point, I want to tour as much as we can,” admitted 72-year-old guitarist Joe Perry. “I want to get out and play to the fans. That’s really the focus right now, to get out and play live.” But “Peace Out” kicks off September 2nd and travels North America before the curtain drops in Canada on January 26, 2024.
