A South Carolina couple has made a name for themselves by traveling the world competing in facial hair contests. Aaron and Natali Johnson have racked up 170 competitions between them and find the common interest to be a great way to have fun and bond.
While Aaron generally competes in the Goatee category, Natali enters the “realistic freestyle” competitions which allow her to make whimsical, voluminous beards from scratch with everything from “cutlery to bacon,” which are then attached to her face. In their latest competition, Natali even took home the top prize while Aaron came in second. And this ain’t just a hair-raising hobby…the two now compete full-time.
