We all know that some crazy menu items show up at fast-food chains overseas from time to time and a new addition from Burger King Japan may be one of the strangest ones yet.
The Ice Whopper is being offered this week – and it’s a Whopper with a layer of shaved ice in the middle. It’s part of the Natsukoi (Summer Love) Set that includes a frozen bottle of Coca-Cola.
Shaved ice (kakigori) is a popular summer Japanese dessert and will sell for about $7.50 USD. It requires advance ordering and only sold while supplies last (like the ice?).
