Judy Senft, a resident of Wallingford, CT found herself in a disappointing situation when Charmin revoked her prize of a year’s supply of toilet paper, claiming the congratulatory email was sent by mistake. Initially thrilled by her win, Senft’s then got an apologetic email from the company titled “Oopsie, we made a Poopsie!” offering her a $2 coupon instead. “I went from a year supply to a $2 coupon and I was like, ‘this can’t be,’” Senft shared with “NBC CT Responds,” explaining how she had even bragged to coworkers about her unusual win.
Here’s Charmin’s bigger prob: other people received the same “Oopsie” email. After a challenging year of personal injuries, Senft jokes about switching to store-brand T.P. After Judy reached out to “NBC CT,”, Charmin reconsidered their compensation and offered her a $50 coupon. Despite repeated inquiries by “NBC CT,” both Procter & Gamble and the sweepstakes company have yet to respond.
