A 29-year-old woman registered as a student at New Brunswick High School in New Jersey and enrolled. Hyejeong Shin allegedly took part in classes, exchanged phone numbers with other students, and even spoke with guidance counselors while pretending to be 15.
The president of the Board of Education for the school has defended letting the woman register, saying that she “didn’t look like a grandmother.” There’s been no official release saying why the woman wanted to enroll in school as a 15-year-old.
