Natasha Emeny experienced a shocking incident in Lincolnshire, UK, when she discovered her 1-year-old son Koah, had gotten ahold of and eaten some of his grandfather’s cremated ashes. The ashes were stored in an urn placed on a high shelf, which Emeny believed was out of Koah’s reach. Anyone who’s been around a toddler knows they’re capable of seemingly impossible things, and while she briefly stepped away to put away laundry, Koah managed to get the urn.
When she came back into the room, Emeny found him covered in ashes and realized he had eaten some. Doctors said that Koah would be fine after drinking water and sure enough, he didn’t have any problems after eating grandpa. Despite her initial horror, Emeny later found it a little funny, and said her father would have laughed about it as well.
