Something’s tearing up your garbage and scaring your dog?
Oh, that’s just Todd. A black bear has been roaming the city of Austin, Minnesota, earning the name Todd after spending most of last Sunday camped out in Todd Park. Austin police say Todd was last spotted near a Les Schwab Tire Center and has been moving quickly through the area. Officers say he’s scared of humans and, unless provoked, poses no real threat.
They’re asking residents to leave him alone so he moves on, and to only call 911 if something seems wrong, rather than reporting every sighting. Austin is a city of about 25,000 people in Mower County, in southeastern Minnesota, best known as the home of Hormel Foods and the SPAM Museum.
