Some people are rushing to get advice from a reptile. Lyle Drescher, who calls himself the “Therapy Gecko,” posts videos on social media where he takes calls from strangers…while dressed as a gecko.
Drescher, who’s actually a comic and not a therapist…or a lizard, has millions of followers and hundreds of thousands of listeners to his podcast. He’s even traveled around the globe, doling out advice in his gecko suit. Drescher loves his gig, saying, “I’ve been all over Europe and America and Australia interviewing different people as a gecko and getting to experience all of these things and talk to all of these people and do all of these live.”
