Things were going exactly as planned, until the plane nosedived into the sea. Emergency services pulled the pilot and co-pilot from the water, but one died during the rescue and the other was declared dead while receiving first aid on land.
When will it end? This isn’t the first problem with increasingly “over the top” gender reveal stunts. In February, a Michigan man died after the cannon being used to reveal the gender of a baby exploded, and last year a gender reveal party sparked a California wildfire that destroyed more than 7,000 acres. Jenna Karvunidis, the woman who claims to have started the gender reveal trend, is begging people to stop.
