Over A Thousand People Formed A Human Shamrock In Dublin, Ohio On Tuesday

More than 1,050 people dressed in green ponchos lined up in Riverside Crossing Park in Dublin, Ohio, on St. Patrick’s Day to form what organizers say is the largest human shamrock ever attempted. The event was held right after the city’s St. Patrick’s Day parade on Tuesday and was organized by Visit Dublin, Ohio, and creative agency Cornett.

The current Guinness World Record for the largest human shamrock stands at 815 people and was set in Dublin, Ireland, in 2013. The Dublin, Ohio, attempt, with over 1,050 participants, would easily top that number, though the attempt still needs to be officially reviewed and confirmed by Guinness World Records before it becomes official.
