A new pizza available at the eatery contains durian fruit, which is considered by many to be the stinkiest fruit in the world. How bad does it smell? Someone threw a durian fruit away at the University of Canberra library a few years ago, and it was evacuated because officials thought the smell was a gas leak.
The durian smell in the pizza is said to be milder than the raw fruit, but still present. When asked why anyone would want to make a durian pizza, wholesaler Summer Yu said, “People put pineapple on pizza, this is the same thing.”
