New Oklahoma City Skyscraper Is Approved For “Unlimited” Height

A company is planning a new skyscraper in Oklahoma City, and the plans call for a building 1,907 feet tall, which would make it the tallest building in the US. According to the approval for the plans by the Oklahoma City Council last week, they don’t have to stop there. The newly-approved zoning application for Legends Tower removed all height restrictions, which means they could build it as high as they want.

There’s just one hurdle left to clear for developer Matteson Capital…approval for the digital signage they plan to put on the building. Construction on the $1.2-billion tower is set to start this fall, pending all approvals.
