Employee Injures 83-Year-Old Boss Over Christmas Bonus: Florida housekeeper Heather Nelson is accused of the Scroogiest behavior you’ve heard of. Nelson allegedly confronted her 83-year-old employer about a promised $500 Christmas bonus; the older woman said she couldn’t afford it, so Nelson supposedly left the woman with a swollen wrist and a lot of missing money. According to the sheriff’s office, Nelson grabbed a $500 check, “took some Christmas cards that had money in them, tood some debit and credit cards,” and then left and forged signatures to take “quite a bit of money from this woman.” That includes trying to pay her $1,400 rent. She’s charged with multiple felonies.
Tennessee Man Arrested After Shooting At Family Sledding In His Neighborhood: A Tennessee man is now facing six counts of aggravated assault, apparently because he thought those kids were on his darn lawn. Benjamin Cook allegedly went out and started firing a rifle at parents and their four children who were sledding down a hill in their neighborhood. The man said they were on his property, they called the police, and Cook was arrested. While officers were there, they determined that the family wasn’t on the man’s property at all.
