This is a bad day at work. A mechanic test-driving a customer-owned Ferrari Enzo wrecked the car on Tuesday in the Netherlands, potentially totaling it. An eyewitness to the crash says the car was traveling down a relatively straight two-lane road when it accelerated, then spun into the trees on the other side of the road.
Only 399 production Enzos were ever built, which makes them a hot seller on the collector’s market. Enzos regularly trade for $2.5 million to $3 million, with the record sale price $3.8 million for a barely driven model painted a rare Rosso Scuderia red.
