There are lots of ways to quit a job you don’t like, but a McDonald’s night shift manager left his job recently with a vengeance. Twitter user @GreatApeDad posted a picture he says he took of the sign taped to the drive-thru speaker at a Louisville, Kentucky McDonald’s. It reads “We are closed because I am quitting, and I hate this job.”
Is this the wave of the future? Who knows, but a survey by the National Federation of Independent Business says that 40% of small businesses have job openings they need to fill, while a survey of workers showed that 39% would consider quitting a job if they didn’t have more flexibility to work from home.
