There’s no doubt folks love to listen to Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” during the holidays, which is why it has topped “Billboard’s” Greatest of All Time Holiday 100 Songs chart.
“When I wrote [it], I had absolutely no idea the impact the song would eventually have worldwide,” Carey tells the mag. “The record really has brought me full circle, and I’m so full of gratitude that so many people enjoy it with me every year.”
Coming in at number two on the list is Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” followed by Bobby Helms’ “Jingle Bell Rock” at three, Nat King Cole’s “The Christmas Song (Merry Christmas to You)” at four and Burt Ives’ “A Holly Jolly Christmas” at five.
- Meanwhile, topping the Greatest of All Time Top Holiday Albums chart is Vince Guaraldi Trio’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas” soundtrack,” followed by Michael Buble’s “Christmas” and Mariah’s “Merry Christmas.”
