A Florida man who was badly injured by a tiger after putting his arm into a zoo enclosure won’t be charged with a crime. The man worked for a company hired to clean the restrooms, and the 26-year-old man was attacked when he jumped a barrier and put his arm through the fencing. The Malayan tiger named Eko grabbed his arm and refused to let go.
A sheriff’s deputy shot and killed the tiger, and Sheriff Kevin Rambosk said Friday he was disappointed that no charges could be filed. The sheriff’s office places the blame for the tiger’s death on the injured man.
