Family trees can be complicated, but this may be the most complicated of all time. Samir Simpson-Bey shared a story on TikTok that his son is actually his uncle. While his girlfriend was taking a shower, Simpson-Bey found years’ worth of explicit messages and pictures his girlfriend and his grandfather had shared. He confronted the two about the issue and then moved out of his grandfather’s home. He had been staying with his grandfather while working through personal problems.
Not many people get the opportunity to raise their uncle from birth, but that’s what Simpson-Bey says he’s going to do. He says knowing what happened is hard, but he’s going to raise the baby as if it were his actual son. He thinks he shouldn’t have been surprised, saying in a video “Can’t believe I expected more from a man that had a whole other family around the corner from my granny’s house.”
