Experts are concerned about the impact on the local ecosystem after TikToker @thinfrog has posted videos of the ‘frog army’ he’s bred in his garden that he says is over a million strong. He claims to have rescued frogspawn and then documented their growth into tadpoles and then frogs, and marine biologists say it could have “adverse effects” on the local ecosystem…but there’s a catch in the story.
A follower noticed that some of the footage looked familiar and found that it was reused videos of frogs from YouTube. It doesn’t mean the entire thing is fake, but some of the footage is definitely reused from years ago.
