Florida Man Shoots Himself While Showing Off In A Bar

When you get something you’re proud of, the first impulse for many people is to show it off to people. An unidentified Florida man had a bad experience with that impulse Thursday night at O’Riley’s Uptown Tavern in Pensacola when he brought his new gun to the bar. After pulling it out to show a man and woman, he reportedly made a quick motion to put the gun into an imaginary holster under his shoulder and shot himself in the torso.

Probably not the ‘look’ he was going for. The man left the bar, checked himself into a local hospital before police could get there, and didn’t know if any charges would be filed against the man; the man’s condition is unknown.
