FDA Comments On Viral ‘Milk Crate Challenge’

The FDA is having one heck of a month. Over the weekend, the agency recommended that people not take horse dewormer to fight COVID after several people wound up in the hospital because they did, and now they’re making comments on the wisdom of walking across stacks of milk crates. The “Milk Crate Challenge” is the latest viral trend on social media, where people video themselves trying to walk across stacks of milk crates.

Conan O’Brien tweeted a joke about the craze, saying he’s waiting for FDA approval before trying the challenge, and the official FDA Twitter account responded by saying “Although we regulate milk, we can’t recommend you try that.”
