Campers by Loch Ness saw something strange in the water that had them puzzled. They thought it might be Nessie, the lake monster, but it turned out to be…a pizza delivery. As part of their “delivery innovation”, Domino’s launched a submarine delivery as part of a summer campaign, sending pizzas at high speed under the water.
The compact sub can travel at up to 45 mph, and even launch itself out of the water to a height of around 15 feet. Don’t worry about a submarine turning up at your door anytime soon, though; Pizza Delivery Innovation Spokesperson Izzy Gardener said they “won’t be training all drivers to become pilots of this unique mode of transport anytime soon.”
