Disney+ and Hulu have set a new Guinness World Record for the world’s largest gingerbread house, and it looks just like the McCallister home from “Home Alone.” That makes sense, as the giant confectionery condo was built in Hollywood to celebrate the movie’s 35th anniversary. The gingerbread house stands 22 feet tall, 58 feet wide, and 34 feet long, measuring 44,838 cubic feet total.
It took eight days to build using more than 7,350 pounds of flour, over 6,600 eggs, 4,200 gingerbread brick tiles, nearly 1,800 roof tiles, and 20 gallons of edible glue. A Guinness World Records judge confirmed the record on Friday, breaking a title that had been held since 2013.
