In case you haven’t heard, “Happy Gilmore 2” is happening. The script is currently in development, and Dan Patrick has been able to confirm that he’ll have a part in the film. On his show, Patrick read a text exchange he’d had with Adam Sandler. In it, Patrick jokingly (or so he says) asked Sandler how much time he should take off to shoot “Happy Gilmore 2,” since he’s trying to plan out his schedule for the year. Sandler apparently replied, “A few days,” but he’ll let him know “when there’s a script.” Patrick then reiterated that he was “just kidding,” to which Sandler reiterated, “You’re in, bro. You play you.”
