With two sons already, Cary and Tim Patonai have been trying to add to their family with no success, with Cary having 19 miscarriages over the years, including two sets of twins. That changed last week when Finnley arrived two weeks early, weighing in at a whopping 14 pounds one ounce at birth.
Doctors say that if he had been born on his due date, he could have weighed 16 and a half pounds. Finnley isn’t just heavy, he’s tall for a baby at 23.75 inches. Tim’s reaction to his son’s size? “He’s gonna be a football player, get him in those pads.”
