Company Raises $10-Million To Create Digital AI Copies Of People

There’s no way this could go wrong, obviously. A company called Uare.ai has raised $10.3-million in seed funding to build what it calls Individual AI, which are digital versions of people that can think and speak like them. The company is backed by Mayfield and Boldstart Ventures and plans to use the money to hire staff, expand its platform, and launch its product this year. Unlike most AI companies working toward one general system that serves everyone, Uare.ai creates private AI models for each person based on their memories, stories, expertise, and voice.

The company’s technology uses something called the Human Life Model, which captures how a person makes decisions and talks so their AI can respond the way they would. Early users include creators who are using their Individual AIs to automatically generate content and expand their audiences. The platform will officially launch in the next few months. Uare.ai was founded by Robert LoCascio, who previously took LivePerson public and pioneered AI web chat.
