Coffee Shop In England Introduces Edible Cup

A retailer in England is hoping to take a bite out of environmental issues by using zero-waste edible cups to serve their java. Zero Green, which is a sustainable store in Bristol, England serves their coffee in what the barista says are cups made of barley and wheat, adding that they taste like a thick ice cream wafer”.

Do the cups, made by Belgian company “Cupfee,” fall apart the second they’re handed to you? The beverage holders have been shown to retain their strength long enough for customers to enjoy their joe…as long as 40 minutes.
