In 1974, Angelo Fregolent parked his 1962 Lancia Fulvia outside the newspaper shop he ran with his wife in the Italian town of Conegliano…and left it there. The couple retired but left the car in its space because it had turned into a tourist attraction.
On October 20, local officials finally moved the car after 47 years, sending it to be fully restored before going on display outside a school next to Angelo’s house, in full view of the now 94-year-old’s window, and still on display for tourists to continue taking selfies with the car.
