Vaccine controversy continues around the world, and this time the police are involved. A German Red Cross nurse is being investigated for allegedly injecting thousands of people with saline instead of the COVID-19 vaccine they thought they were receiving. Police say that there was a reasonable suspicion based on witness testimony that the nurse had given the fake shots to up to 8,600 people.
While it’s not known why she would fake vaccine injections, she had reportedly expressed anti-vax views on social media. With thousands not having the immunity they needed, authorities are asking the people affected to get a second shot to make sure they’re covered while the investigation continues.
