America’s Oldest Person Credits Wine For Long Life

The oldest woman in the US celebrated her 116th birthday Monday in California. Edie Ceccarelli was treated to a parade organized by officials in Mendocino County where she lives in a residential care home. Edie, who also happens to be the second oldest person in the entire world, was born in 1908 to Italian immigrant parents, who also lived well into their 90s. She has now outlived her entire immediate family, including her younger siblings.
