A California man tweeted his four-day battle with Amazon after they left more at his house than he bargained for. The man asked the press to be identified only by his Twitter handle ‘Captain Lou’ says a white van delivered a 24-pack of toilet paper Friday, but then the driver couldn’t get the van to start. The delivery driver ended up leaving the van in Lou’s driveway.
It took him four days to get Amazon to talk with him about the van before the company finally told him to “call the authorities and have it towed.” Lou says Amazon covered the towing charges and added $200 to Lou’s gift card balance to make up for the problem; Lou says he’s donating it to charity. https://platform.twitter.com/embed/Tweet.html?dnt=true&embedId=twitter-widget-11&features=eyJ0ZndfZXhwZXJpbWVudHNfY29va2llX2V4cGlyYXRpb24iOnsiYnVja2V0IjoxMjA5NjAwLCJ2ZXJzaW9uIjpudWxsfSwidGZ3X2hvcml6b25fdHdlZXRfZW1iZWRfOTU1NSI6eyJidWNrZXQiOiJodGUiLCJ2ZXJzaW9uIjpudWxsfSwidGZ3X3NwYWNlX2NhcmQiOnsiYnVja2V0Ijoib2ZmIiwidmVyc2lvbiI6bnVsbH19&frame=false&hideCard=false&hideThread=false&id=1459571487636004882&lang=en&origin=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.drdavesultimateprep.com%2Fprep%2Fmy_picks&sessionId=94fc03c27b300adfe4beb19acd04f2c49e8f7638&theme=light&widgetsVersion=f001879%3A1634581029404&width=550px
