The First Congregational UCC Church of Lisbon will host its annual ice cream social Friday, Aug. 15, 4-7 p.m. at the “White Church” at the corner of the Five Mile Line Road and County Route 28. Hot dogs and chips, ice cream cones, hot fudge, brownie, caramel, and strawberry sundaes, and the ever-famous banana splits will be available. This year the Back Door Quilters will have a quilt show in the church. There will be antique and new quilts of all sizes and designs.
