Snorkler Swims With Shark For Over An Hour Before Dolphins Scare It Away

A mailman that takes wildlife photos was snorkeling off the coast of England when he picked up a swimming buddy…a blue shark. Martin Yelland says the shark “was curious but in no way aggressive,” and swam with him for about an hour before a pod of dolphins scared the shark away.

The photos Yelland took during the encounter show the shark swimming near the surface and other swimmers. He says he wasn’t scared at all and has booked the same snorkeling opportunity in that location for next week.
