Police had to remove the door of a “small aircraft” from blocking a lane of a busy highway over the weekend. Sharing pictures of the large door on Twitter, Wiltshire Police said: “Unusual debris! What appears to be a door from light aircraft, removed from lane one of the M4 near Swindon on Saturday 9th January.”
“If the owner would like to come forward to collect it, please get in touch #insecureload”.
The tweet left many wondering what exactly happened to the rest of the plane.
