2026 LABOR DAY SCHEDULE OF EVENTS*

The Heuvelton Labor Day Committee is proud to announce that the Heuvelton Lions Club is once again joining us as co-sponsors of this year’s Farm Daze themed Labor Day celebration!! We are so grateful for all that they do for us and the community! Thank you Heuvelton Lions!!!

This is a tentative list of the Labor Day weekend events…More info/details will be added as we get closer to the big weekend.

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 4th

*Live music and dancing at AMVETS- Hot Country Band 6-9pm – $5 cover charge

*State St Deli Block Party – 5-8 pm…Ice cream, pizza, hotdogs/burgers, Live music, PTA Cake Walk, Petting Zoo , Kids Games (Sponsored by Royal J Acres), Face Painting (Sponsored by Family of Bill Knowlton)

 

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 5th

*Kids Fishing Derby – Sponsored by Collin’s Hammond Electrical- 7am Registration at the Boat Launch – Open Boundaries – Weigh in at 11

*Fun Run – Registration starts at 7am, Race starts at 8am – Stone Valley (Old McCadam building on Annette St )- Donation $10 – 1st 100 participants receive a free t-shirt- Sponsored by Dick Barlow

*Canoe Race – Front St Rensselaer Falls 9am

*Craft Show – 9-2 at the Fire Hall – Crafts/vendors/food truck -Hosted by Marnie Wood 

*Baby Contest – Sponsored by the Heuvelton Lions Club – 10am on lawn at St Raphael’s Church – Newborn to 24 month

*Duck Race – Sponsored by SLFCU – Noon at the Flat Rocks on the River Rd

*Quilt/Knit/Crochet Show – Sponsored by Heuvelton Public Library 9-3 at Pickens Hall

*BINGO at Meadowview Apartments – 10:30am (Cards given out after 10am) – No charge -ages 5 and up -Sponsored by County Seat Realty

*BOAT LAUNCH EVENTS:

*Food Truck Rally – 12 Noon

*Wiffle Ball tourney (all ages) 12 Noon

*Adult Tug O’ War – 2pm

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 6th

*Two Grandmas and a Diner Breakfast Buffet – 8-10:30 Adults $12, kids ages 6-12 are $6 , kids 5 and under free

*PARADE 1pm – Lineup starts at 11 – Float Juding at Noon

*AMVETS Chicken BBQ 2pm – $15

*Big Wheel Races for kids ages 3-8 – Lisbon St immediately following parade -Sponsored by Top of the Hill Sealcoating and hosted by the McGaw Family

*Doug’s Tavern – Live music immediately following parade

*Food trucks , snow cones and cotton candy on Lisbon St
