Two men in Florida ended up in the hospital after a fight in a grocery store parking lot turned into a machete battle. It happened Tuesday afternoon just before 3 p.m. in the parking lot of a Publix in Panama City; police say the two men got into a verbal argument over an ex-girlfriend, and the situation quickly escalated into a violent fight involving machetes.
Both men were hurt, but their injuries were not life-threatening, and both were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police say both will face criminal charges once they are released, and both have been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Unsurprisingly, one of the men has a prior conviction in the county.
