On July 12th SUNY Potsdam is hosting an inaugural recreational bike ride. Check in is at 9 a.m and the event ends at 1:30p.m. The start location is Maxcy Hall Ramp at Saranac Lake Drive, SUNY Potsdam. Adult ride registration is $20. The ride will take participants along rolling country roads before heading back toward campus past local landmarks including Bayside Cemetery, Trinity Episcopal Church, and Ives Park. The marked route will include way-finding signage, volunteer support, and a GPS map. Families with youth riders can register for a free family ride that routes through the SUNY Potsdam Campus and will include an exciting scavenger hunt! The post-ride “Picnic with the Bears” will include complimentary treats, food trucks, and live music. All are welcome, come enjoy a pleasant day of recreational fun and friendly biking!
