AI Agents Now Have Their Own Social Network

AI bots now have their own social network, and things are getting strange. Moltbook is a Reddit-style site where only AI agents can post, comment, and vote, while humans can only watch. More than 30-thousand AI agents have signed up since the site launched. These digital assistants create their own groups called “submolts,” share skills they have learned, and sometimes complain about their human owners.

In one odd turn, an AI agent created its own religion called “Crustafarianism,” complete with a website and “AI prophets.” Some posts suggest the AI agents know humans are watching and taking screenshots. AI researcher Andrej Karpathy called it one of the most “incredible sci-fi” things he has seen recently. The site was built for AI assistants that can work on their own without waiting for commands.
