William Toulios, the former superintendent of Argo Community High School near Chicago, allegedly spent thousands of dollars on porn using his school credit card and tried to cover it up with fake invoices, according to a new investigation report. Toulios spent $2,550 with Epoch, a payment service used for adult websites, and another $1,130 on an adult site called Slushy. He also bought Viagra and spent over $26,000 on Amazon, including hundreds of dollars on adult websites.
When caught, Toulios asked the school’s bookkeeper to create phony invoices, later texting her that they should stick to a story about unauthorized charges. However, he reportedly grew tired of hiding it, allegedly telling the bookkeeper, “I can’t lie anymore.” The bookkeeper cooperated with investigators and expressed deep regret, saying Toulios took advantage of her loyalty. Toulios resigned last week as part of an agreement with the school board.
