The spud was a dud…A hospital has been put on blast after giving their staff a potato as a Christmas bonus. A woman who goes by Amanda B on X/Twitter posted the potato pic with the caption, “My work is doing a potato bar as our Christmas bonus. I’m literally getting a hospital potato as a bonus.” But it gets worse…Amanda added, “They also said it has a $15 value so it will be taxed on our next check. Does anyone need an assistant so I can just quit right now?”
The tweet has racked up nearly 3 million views while people online refer to the hospital as “Dickens villains.” However, Amanda admits the tater is better than last year’s gift which was a half-hour video conference call with the company’s leadership team.
