When Liv Kay married a farmer and moved to rural New Zealand, the only thing wrong with her life was that she no longer lived close to her best friend Amber. Not wanting to do without her, Liv did the only thing she could think of; she started advertising for a farmer to marry Amber so the two could be farmer’s wives together.
Liv says that Amber’s been a good sport about it, and the messages that have flooded in from the ad have been “really respectful.” The big question is, did it work? It turns out that Amber’s been on a few dates with someone, and Kay says it’s going well enough that she’s not taking any more applications at the moment.
